Executive Director- Kathleen Burke, M.A.     contact

Kathleen comes to CNHFH with over 10 years experience in business and NGO/ non-profit management and operations. Kathleen is excited to be directing activities at CNHFH, as it allows her to utilize her experience and passion in community development work. She arrived at CNHFH in August 2010, coming to the organization from her post in Egypt where she worked in youth protection with a United Nations implementing partner.
Kathleen originally moved to Keith County, Nebraska in 2002 and has maintained a home here while working overseas. She is grateful for the opportunity to be back in the beautiful Sandhills, close to family, doing work she loves and helping communities and
families in need.
Kathleen holds a Masters of Arts in Peace and Development Studies from the University of Limerick, Ireland., and a triple Bachelors of Arts in the fields of Anthropology, Communications, and Psychology from the University of Colorado at Denver. She is currently completing her Graduate Certificate in Emergency and Disaster Response Management, and says while this is valuable knowledge she hopes to never have to use it within her Nebraska service area.
When not working Kathleen enjoys spending as much time as she can with her daughter. She also enjoys helping in her family's sweet shop, and can usually be found with a camera in her hand.
